Configure Workflow Pane
The Configure Workflow Pane is accessed by clicking Configuration Variables
on the Run Now Pane. This option will only display if the Workflow contains a Variable Bar Property that is marked as a Configuration Variable
.
This Pane provides a way to change the values of Configuration items defined in Variable Bars on the Workflow.
Workflows obtain external input data via Variable Bar Properties. When the Property Type is set to Configuration Variable, a Configuration Variable Name
is also provided. Flowgear allows users to store values against the defined Configuration Variable Name
for the current Site.
The Configure Workflow Pane will present a list of all Configuration Variables
defined in Variable Bars in the Workflow. The values stored against these Properties may be accessed by any Workflow within the same Site by using the same value in the Configuration Variable Name
Property of the Variable Bar Property.
Note that configuration values are partitioned by Environment. This means that you can have a separate set of Configuration Variables
values for each Environment defined in your Site.
You can see a list of all configuration data for an entire site from Current Site → ⚙️ Settings → Configuration Variables
.
