Upgrading Nodes
This article describes how to upgrade nodes and node connections in the safest way to ensure continued functionality across the site.
Best Practice for Upgrading Connectors
When upgrading a connector, always begin by upgrading the connection first.
Upgrading the connection before the connector ensures that the existing connection can continue to be used by all legacy connectors. This step avoids disruptions and prevents legacy connectors from failing due to missing or incompatible connection properties.
Once the connection has been upgraded, you can:
- Add any new connection properties that may be required by the newer connector version.
- Re-authenticate the connection if necessary.
After upgrading the connection, you can systematically upgrade all your connectors. This staged approach allows for safe, incremental upgrades without impacting production workflows.
