Account and Subscription

An Account is the ownership and commercial boundary for Flowgear subscriptions and published Apps. An Account can have its own users and permission assignments.

A subscription belongs to one Account. It identifies the product, start and end dates, licensed features, limits, and the Sites that receive an allocation.

Site allocation

A subscription allocates features and capacity to one or more Sites. Site allocations can include their own feature or capacity values, such as the permitted Concurrent Workflow allocation.

Licensed features are checked in the context required by the feature. Some are Tenant- or Account-wide, while others require a Site allocation.

Apps

Published Flowgear Apps are owned by an Account. Administrators then assign an App to one or more Sites so it appears in those Sites' Console navigation.

Site assignment does not transfer ownership, copy the App package, or authorize every Site user to invoke every backend Workflow. The App's Site visibility, API Key, Workflow assignments, user assignments, and Environment controls remain separate.

Account access

Account users receive Account-scoped Security Group assignments. These permissions control actions such as viewing or changing Account information, subscriptions, Site allocations, users, and owned Apps.

Account access does not automatically grant design or administration access inside every allocated Site. Site users and Site permissions are managed at Site scope.

Account details in Console

Open Settings → Accounts, then select an Account. Depending on your permissions, the details page lets you:

  • Edit the Account name and view its Account code.
  • Review active and expired subscriptions, product codes, dates, limits, and features.
  • Allocate subscription capacity to Sites.
  • Purchase or upgrade a plan, or upload a subscription license file where supported.
  • Open the Account audit trail.
  • Manage Account users from the Account users view.

Commercial plan names, limits, and feature availability can change. Use the current Account details page and Flowgear pricing information for the active subscription.
