Assistant Data Processing

Flowgear's assistant features send your messages and relevant context, including Workflow definitions and tool results, directly to OpenAI. Flowgear retains only chat metadata, such as user, Site, and response identifiers, rather than message content or assistant replies. Tool call invocations, including their inputs and outputs, may be retained in Workflow logs, subject to the applicable logging and retention settings.

Under OpenAI's Services Agreement, API customers retain ownership of their inputs and own outputs to the extent permitted by law. OpenAI uses content to provide its services, comply with law, enforce policies, and prevent abuse; it does not train on that content unless the customer explicitly agrees. OpenAI's API data controls describe its separate retention: abuse monitoring logs normally remain for up to 30 days, with legal and safety exceptions, while some features retain conversation or response data according to their configuration.
