Platform Capabilities v1

The v1 Runtime provides a visual integration designer, versioned Nodes, reusable Connections, cloud or DropPoint execution, production interfaces, and operational tooling.

Design and connectivity

Build a Workflow from Nodes joined by Flow Connectors. Select a Node Method, configure its Properties, and use the Variable Bar to map values between Nodes and the Workflow.

Connections keep endpoint and authentication configuration separate from Workflow logic. Their values can differ by Site Environment.

Execution and interfaces

Run a Workflow in the designer or expose it through the interfaces supported by its Start Node and settings. These can include Run Now, schedules, listeners, HTTP endpoints, MCP tools, and Sub-Workflow invocation.

Use Different Ways to Run a Workflow for the runtime-specific options.

Placement

Workflows can execute in Flowgear's cloud runtime. Nodes that need private-system access can execute through a DropPoint installed in that network. See v1 Runtime for the execution model.

Operations and governance

Workflow Logs record execution activity and failures. Revision Management retains Workflow history, while Release Management controls which revision is published to each ordered Environment.

The shared platform also provides Site users, Security Groups, Environment-scoped permissions, API Keys, relationships, audit trails, and Environment-specific Connection values.
