Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse File v2

Provides integration with Microsoft Fabric, an analytics platform combining workspaces, data engineering and Lakehouse storage.

Use the Node to upload binary file streams to a Lakehouse Files area.

Revision History

0.0.0.4 - Initial release.

Connection

Property Type Description
Tenant ID String Microsoft Entra directory (tenant) identifier.
Client ID String Application (client) identifier from Microsoft Entra.
Client Secret Masked Application secret used for client-credentials authentication.

Setup Notes

This Node runs on Cloud Runtimes.

Register a Microsoft Entra application and enter Tenant ID, Client ID and Client Secret. Grant the application access to the target Fabric workspace and permissions for its operations. Connection Test acquires a Fabric REST token. OneLake uploads request a separate Storage token when used.

Methods

Upload File

Uploads a stream below a Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse Files root.

Parameter Type Description
Connection Connection Microsoft Fabric application Connection.
Workspace ID String Workspace GUID containing the Lakehouse.
Lakehouse ID String Lakehouse item GUID receiving the file.
File Path String Relative destination below Files, without a leading Files segment.
Content Stream Binary content stream uploaded directly to OneLake.
Overwrite Boolean Whether an existing file at the same path may be replaced.
Return Type Description
Response Object Provider result plus Flowgear.IsSuccess, Flowgear.StatusMessage and Flowgear.Request.

Usage Notes

  • File Path is relative to the Lakehouse Files root. Do not include a leading Files segment. Use workspace and Lakehouse GUIDs.
  • The upload obtains a Storage token for OneLake separately from the Fabric REST token. A successful Connection test alone does not establish upload permissions.
  • Use Overwrite to control replacement of an existing file. The result includes Flowgear.IsSuccess, Flowgear.StatusMessage and Flowgear.Request.
