Workflow Design Basics v1

A v1 Runtime Workflow is a visual graph of Nodes joined by execution and data Flow Connectors.

Canvas and Nodes

• Click + to add a Node.
• Open the Node Header menu for help, samples, deletion, and context actions.
• Drag a Node by its header to move it.
• Click the header twice to edit its descriptive name.
• Hold CTRL on Windows or Command on macOS while clicking Nodes or dragging a rectangle to select several Nodes.
• Use the Canvas Copy, Cut, Paste, and Delete controls with the current selection.

Flow Connectors

Execution Flow Connectors determine sequence and named branches. Data Flow Connectors map values between Node Properties.

Drag from an output socket to an input socket to create a connector. Drag an existing connector to another target to change it, or release it away from a target to remove it.
