Known issues (new Console)

As part of the preview release of the redesigned Flowgear Console, we’ve identified a few issues that are still being resolved. Below is a summary of the current known issues and limitations. The Flowgear team is actively working on these and will release fixes in upcoming updates.

We’ll keep this page updated as issues are resolved or new ones are reported.

Current known issues

Explorer

The Connections, DropPoints, API keys and Workflows views all use the explorer layout. The following issues are features that have not yet been implemented for the explorer layout.

  • Search and filter happens on a single folder level; we are actively working having this work on nested folder levels.
  • Search and filter only filters out the results, it does not show matching results by means of a visual indicator (i.e. a highlighted item).
  • Search query and filter selection does net get persisted; it resets to the defaults when you navigate away from the explorer view.
  • Selection (checkbox) and pinning (star) of items is not yet supported.
  • The context menu (accessed by right-clicking on an item) is not yet supported.
  • Explorer actions (such as copy, paste, delete, rename and move) are not yet supported.
  • Metrics (such as number of items inside folders or total number of results) is not yet supported.
  • Downloading OpenAPI definitions for Workflows is not yet supported.
  • The items are not sorted in alphabetical order.

Workflow design

  • The Workflow canvas and controls is not yet entirely responsive to different device sizes.
  • The ability to search directly inside the Workflow canvas has not yet been implemented.
  • Code editor autocomplete tooltips are not always visible.

The following views are still under development.

  • My earnings > Reviews
  • Account details view (allocated sites and subscriptions)
  • Show relationships (on the relevant views)

Other known issues and bugs

Other issues and bugs we are aware of.

  • Editor dialogs would be dismissed unintentionally when losing focus.
  • Switching Sites does not reload the underlying data.
  • Workflow definition cannot be updated.
  • Issue where one is unable to remove a certificate from a Connection.
  • Sometimes the top actions buttons become unresponsive when the top progress bar is show.
  • Issue where one is unable to remove a DropPoint from a Connection.
  • A bug where the new console would sometimes crash when trying to switch Sites.
  • Game UI is not displaying correctly.
  • Keyboard events (i.e. 'Enter' key) should trigger confirm action on dialogs.
  • SQL code editor — text cursor keeps jumping to the top.
  • Create new workflow — confirm button does not dismiss the dialog.
  • Dropdown arrow on Variable Bar node (on Workflow design view) is misaligned.
  • Not all explorer items are visible.
  • Country dropdown overflows when adding a new user.
  • Full logging vs Low logging in Workflow settings — does not display or update correctly.
  • Workflow logs multiline preview showing Download when it should not.
  • Choosing Node samples throws an unhandled exception when a sample does not have a name defined.
  • Update Connection to latest version — a user has to click the button twice before taking effect.
  • Connection redirect back after 'Connect your account' does not save the updated values.
  • Document titles are not displaying correctly.
  • API Keys Pane - When Clicking on '+New API Key', it displays a blank screen.
